You quoted some really great pieces from the readings in your blog on consciousness, they really strengthened your arguments. I agree that Chalmers side-stepped the issue of true consciousness is, it was a little bit frustrating because I kept hoping he would explain where he stood on the subject. In your blog about technology you again used strong support from the readings to reinforce your claims. Your point about the ecosystem relying on the basest of creatures was very creative!

I really enjoyed your reference to Romeo and Juliet, it was very relevant and inventive. The direct quote that you used from the reading really added to your entire blog. Your entry on technology was really powerful, the multiple quotes that you included fit in perfectly to your points. I also liked your insight into the matter in the final paragraph, it was interesting to see the topic through your eyes.

The way that you started out your blog about consciousness was really fun, the anecdotes you used were easy to relate to (except for the tennis one, I love the sport but am a terrible player!). Also, the use of an outside source was great, and it was nice to see what the true definition of a “thought” is. Your voice really came across well in your entry about technology. You blended your own opinions with the points expressed in the readings in a very well-done and seamless manner.
