I am so sorry to hear about your friend! That story was absolutely heartbreaking and I truly hope that she is doing well. You related the event is such a great way, you conveyed it with great emotion and so clearly. Your second post “Allowing Smaller Companies to Be the Big Dogs” brought up some really interesting points. Your suggestion that artists be able to move from one label to another, rather than be tied down to one specifically is really well thought out. It reminds me a little of the switch in the film industry, which has definitely empowered the actors to do the projects that they want rather than what their producers demand. I also really like your idea about giving smaller labels a change to participate in a big way. I think that it would really help to shake up the current way of doing things and usher in a new era. Great work!

You told “Some Shoes” is such an amazing way. It was cute, fast-paced, and entertaining. I’m assuming that it was not based on a real-life event, yes? I hope so, poor Abby what a bummer to ruin those shoes! “Freedom to Disrespect” was an interesting take on the subject. I liked how you brought the Freedom of Expression aspect into the argument; it is very valid and really adds strength to your argument. I completely agree with you own personal view on the matter though, it seems like they do not constantly have to be pursuing the sexual route. It seems like there are other ways that they could express themselves that involved a little more clothing.
